  The Homeplace is an excellent place for a big group or family meal. It's an all you can eat home cooked buffet with the usual country dinner dishes and sides. The food is good and hot and the staff is always friendly. The place feels like you just pulled up to a big family reunion at a country estate.

  Wonderful food. Always a bit of a wait so come prepared for that, but there is a reason why there is a line. You can't go wrong with homemade fries chicken and peach cobbler! If you want to avoid the wait, come 10 minutes​ before they open.

  The Homeplace always serves up a great traditional southern meal. Food is served family style with two or three meats (choice of fried chicken, roast beef, and ham - bbq pulled pork available on Thursdays) and all of the fixings. It's impossible to leave hungry as all of the food comes with unlimited refills. For an extra charge, cobbler and vanilla ice cream is also available. Open Thursday through Sunday, The Homeplace is a must-visit destination in Southwest Virginia.
